Be inspired by art and our waterways. Explore underwater worlds with watercolours and create sculptures of underwater life. Play outdoor games and at Red Deer’s water park. Examine how important water is in our world.

Our current exhibits focus on art and biology. This week participants will look at water and water ecology as inspiration to create art.

Activities this week include..

(ages 6-9) For one of our projects this week we will be collecting natural materials and reusing them in a mini installation work that mirrors the Tracing Tides exhibition by Lyndal Osborne.

(ages 10-13) We shall capture the ebb and flow of ocean currents with an acrylic paint pour. This week also includes a deserted island escape simulation!

Supervised outdoor time is also included, as well as time to explore our galleries and Remarkable Red Deer. Please provide your own lunch & snacks, and bring appropriate outdoor clothing.
