Canvases, Coffee and Conversations
In this 6 week acrylic painting course led by MAG Art Educator Christel Langan, you will start with a blank canvas and at the end of the 6 weeks you will have a MAGnificent painting.
You will learn how to use the Grid Method to proportionately enlarge your image and draw it on a canvas, how to colour block your image with paint, colour mixing, and how to use multiple layers of paint to give your artwork depth and dimension.
You will also have had some great conversations and coffee with like-minded individuals in a safe and clean environment!
Making Art History
Have you ever wanted to learn the history behind different art styles, and try your hand at creative projects that are friendly for beginners? Each Making Art History class starts with a brief lesson on art movements or artists in history (as well as contemporary artists), followed with a beginner-friendly art project.
Pre-register to guarantee a spot (drop-in available). All supplies are included. For ages 14+.
