Art Speaks Learning Series
Co-presented by the Red Deer Arts Council (RDAC) and Red Deer Museum + Art Gallery (MAG).
Purpose of the talks is to engage adults in topics on art or collections in an informal social setting, while enjoying light refreshments. There are three sub-themes to the Art Speaks Learning series:
• The Business of Being an Artist series
• Artist and Collectors series
• Understanding Art series
These programs occur on select Wednesday evenings from 6:30 -8:00 p.m. in the fall and winter season.
We offer 6 talks/year (September – April)
The guests talk for ONE HOUR, then there is a 30 min. Q &A or just social time to have refreshments. These talks can be virtual or in-person.
We are excited to announce that for 2022 all Art Speaks sessions will be free to the public and members, thanks to ATB Branch for Arts and Culture!
Registration is required.
The cost to attend each session is $8 for valid MAG members, or $10 each for non-members. Non-refundable.
