Be inspired by art and biological creatures. Explore micro life on land and sea. Play outdoor games and investigate Red Deer’s creatures big and small.

Our current exhibits focus on art and biology. This week participants will look at sea life and bees as inspiration to create art.

Activities this week include..

(ages 6-9) Create and design sea creatures that live in the deep blue sea!

(ages 10-13) For one of our projects this week we will be making mini ammonite clay fossils, paying homage to our recently proposed provincial gemstone and prehistoric marine molluscs that once swam these lands.

Supervised outdoor time is also included, as well as time to explore our galleries and Remarkable Red Deer. Please provide your own lunch & snacks, and bring appropriate outdoor clothing.

Limited spaces available. Full payment in the program is due at the time of registration.
