Be inspired by art and biological creatures. Explore small creatures on land and sea. Play outdoor games and investigate Red Deer’s creatures big and small.

Our current exhibits focus on art and biology. This week participants will look at sea life and bees as inspiration to create art.

Activities this week include..

(ages 6-9) We will be examining how shaving cream can create unique effects. We will be stepping into the art genre of Cubism to see how the world appears in the eyes of a bee.

(ages 10-13) For one of our projects this week we will be making some low relief fish sculptures that play with proportion and scale.

Supervised outdoor time is also included, as well as time to explore our galleries and Remarkable Red Deer. Please provide your own lunch & snacks, and bring appropriate outdoor clothing.

Limited spaces available. Full payment in the program is due at the time of registration.
