Stones & Bones: Fossils & Geodes

This month’s camps will give kids some hands-on learning about geology & osteology. What do those words mean? Stones and bones, of course! We’ll take a look at some of the Museum’s natural history collection, do some watercolour gem clusters, crack some geodes, paint some amazing animal skulls, and more!

Children will create their own artwork. Supervised outdoor time is also included, as well as time to explore our galleries and Remarkable Red Deer.

Please provide your own lunch & snacks*, and bring appropriate outdoor clothing. *MAG Day Camps are peanut/nut free. Ensure the snacks & lunch provided for your child do not contain peanuts or nuts. Additionally, please pack lunches that do not require refrigeration or heating.
