More time spent at home means more opportunity to bake! Pictured is a very early electric mixer (The Universal Electric Mixabeater) from 1918, the era of the Spanish Flu Epidemic. Household Discoveries and Mrs. Curtis’s Cook Book was published in 1908 and may have been used as a recipe source when this gadget was used. Some of our staff are trying a few of these recipes at home! We will share photos of their baking results and the related recipes next week.
