Dave More has been a significant figure in the history of art in Central Alberta. He has pursued his career as a painter and he has taught and mentored many
artists in this region.

His artworks present his impressions of the world around him: the landscape, the people, gardens as well as other places he has visited such as New Brunswick and India.

Dave More: A Painter’s Gift celebrates Dave’s gift of nearly 200 pieces of his art to the Red Deer Museum + Art Gallery (MAG) and includes a selection of large oils on canvas, smaller oil sketches and drawings.
