History in the PM

Inuit and Inuit Art

Join us for an evening of Red Deer’s Remarkable history. Each month we will briefly touch on a theme from Red Deer’s past from pre-contact until today. These presentations are enriched with artifacts from our Collection.

Living in the extreme conditions of Canada’s far north, the Inuit peoples have developed the tools to survive based on what was available to them. This presentation explores the culture and tools of the Inuit as they have been shaped by their challenging environment.

Pre-register or drop in. For ages 16+.
