For Progress & Development: Red Deer Chamber of Commerce

For the past 130 years, Red Deer & District’s Chamber of Commerce has helped lead, direct and support the growth of Red Deer and central Alberta.

From its’ beginnings, as the Board of Trade, their goal was “the improvement of the town of Red Deer and district, commercially and municipally; the promotion of the district in its agricultural and natural resources; and in such other ways as may be beneficial to the district.”

The Red Deer Museum + Art Gallery has rounded up stories, photographs and artifacts that help communicate the Chamber’s origins and impacts on our community from its inception.

Come discover intriguing parts of Red Deer & District’s historical progress and development through the lens of the Chamber.
