A Day @ the Museum: Day Camps

Abstract, Expressive

The Red Deer Polytechnic Visual Art Year End Exhibition has made its’ annual return with the exhibit For the Sake of Argument! We’ll take a look at the wonderful, wide range of art pieces students have created, and try out a variety of mediums and projects geared towards the budding artists in our camps! We’ll play around with colour theory, paint some acrylic still life art pieces, do a mini ceramics style project with air-dry clay, and more.

Children will create their own artwork. Supervised outdoor time is also included, as well as time to explore our galleries and Remarkable Red Deer. Please provide your own lunch & snacks, and bring appropriate outdoor clothing.

*Important Note: MAG Day Camps are peanut/nut free. Please ensure the snacks & lunch provided for your child do not contain peanuts or nuts. Additionally, please pack lunches that do not require refrigeration or heating.
