A Day @ the Museum: Day Camps

Mosaics and Memories

Drawing from themes in the current exhibition, George Littlechild’s Here I Am, Can You See Me?, we will focus this month’s art projects on the importance of family and connections in our artwork. Visually, we will be creating composite collage portraits in Littlechild’s style, and exploring different methods of making mosaics with a range of materials.

Children will create their own artwork. Supervised outdoor time is also included, as well as time to explore our galleries and Remarkable Red Deer. Please provide your own lunch & snacks, and bring appropriate outdoor clothing.

*Important Note: MAG Day Camps are peanut/nut free. Please ensure the snacks & lunch provided for your child do not contain peanuts or nuts. Additionally, please pack lunches that do not require refrigeration or heating.
