Today’s project will be a study of Canadian folk artist Maud Lewis‘ Cats!

Participants will be able to create their own crazy carboard pizza and then top it with their favorite toppings!

Participants of today’s class will look closely at pictures of fur, feathers, or scales, and try to figure out what marks they can use to recreate that texture!

Today we will use masking tape and paper rolls to create a tree that is ready for spring!

Using mixed media, we will be creating a piece of art that contains all 7 elements of art!

By using drawn letters and numbers and markers we will be creating colourful abstract art!

 

Watercolour and geometric shapes is how we will be creating our stained glass inspired art.

 

How do you create art that looks like wet drips of paint with no wet paint? Today that is exactly the art we will be making!

Black paper and pencil crayons is how we will draw an electrifying work of art!

At today’s MAGsparks class we will use lines and shapes to create an abstract piece of art!
