Join us at the museum on Family Day to play some games, help weave together our igloo, colour your entry into our all ages colouring contest, and create your very own cyanotype!
Pick out some winter-themed props and get your photo taken in On the Mark Production’s Photo Bomb Photo Booth, then grab a cookie and get crafty to turn it into your own button.
See our current exhibits Louie Palu: Distant Early Warning and Grace Wirzba’s Pretend Foraging in Sleeved Blankets while listening to live music courtesy of Melody Stang who will be performing in our Remarkable Red Deer gallery space.

The honest and charming banter seamlessly woven between songs threads the needle between heartbreak and hilarity.
Spinning life’s stories into well-crafted lyrics, the songs are bound by catchy melodies and clever chords. While undoubtedly a singer, her downbeat is on songwriter with musical idols like Joni Mitchell and Fleetwood Mac.

Colouring Contest
The colouring page can be downloaded from the Red Deer Museum + Art Gallery (MAG) website (above) or picked up in person at the museum. Participants must return their completed colouring page to the MAG by 4:00 pm on February 19, 2024 (Family Day).
There are 3 prize categories available: children, teens, and adult. Prize winners will be drawn randomly from all eligible entries and contacted the week of February 19th. Prize winners (or parent/guardian of) must pick up their prize in person at the Red Deer Museum + Art Gallery.
